Fuck Fathers Day!

Seriously, why do we set aside a day specifically to recognize male breeders? It makes absolutely no sense to recognize something that’s just a result of biology.

There is nothing special about fatherhood. There is nothing miraculous or amazing or divine about it. There’s nothing spectacular about sticking one’s penis into a woman’s vagina and making it vomit into the birth canal and thus starting the cycle of reproduction. It’s all basic biology! We don’t celebrate mitosis, the production of ATP, or any other biological process with its special holiday, why the hell this? Makes absolutely no sense.

If anything, fathers are to be demonized as much as their female counterparts, for without their sperm we would not exist, and since it’s better never to be brought into existence, it follows that fathers, like mothers, have all committed the supreme act of evil. And for that reason alone, it follows that fathers should be scorned, not glorified.

So to my biological father, and to all fathers wherever you are, FUCK YOU!!!!!!!

  1. Totally agree. Fuck fathers and mothers. Fuck existence.

  2. Haha, exactly

  3. “Celebrate me for having a penis and having the ability to enter a vagina with it! Something even the stupidest mutt can do!”

  4. Well, in all fairness I think mother’s and father’s day is not to celebrate the act of reproduction, but the act of raising a child into a (hopefully good, honest) person. Most people don’t deserve credit.

Look what I saw on the pro-abortion guy’s website. An advertisement for this charity. FUND ABORTION: http://www.fundabortionnow.org/ I remember we’ve talked about how we’d support this kind of thing. I never knew it existed. Once I have disposable income I will be donating here for sure!

  5. Well, still, how do you get a child in the first place?

  6. I agree. So often only the mothers are demonized when it takes two to enslave a soul. And speaking from experience, my father was a no-account philandering dirt bag who had no reason spawning yet he did, with four different women. Yet he still expects me and my brother to call him Dad. FTS! Fuck fathers! Fuck Father’s Day!!!

  7. Did the blog writer quit writing or what?

    • I sure hope not. There are already so few AN blogs out there. We’re hanging by a thread…

      • Time just ran a front page story about the childfree lifestyle so we’re not done just yet. A few posts ago he said he wasn’t doing so well and might “leave”, so I’m a bit worried.

    • In his personal update from May 15, he said starting in July he’ll spend about four months in England touring bell towers. I hope he’s having fun with that. In the same update, he mentioned he’d been depressed for the past few months. Hopefully the beautiful sight-seeing helps him feel better.

  8. Yea, there are several good CF blogs and a few decent AN ones. I was thinking about starting one or a combination. The new Time article would have been perfect to post on here.

  9. I will. I don’t like when people suddenly stop posting, makes me think something bad happened even tho I don’t know them in real life.

  10. Greetings from the Croatian.http://nokids.blog.hr/

  11. Grettings from Croatia. http://nokids.blog.hr/

  12. Welp, he was doing really well but I guess he’s done with this blog. There are always a few other good ones out there.

  13. I think regardless we just need to show acceptance, no judgement and #respectthechoice people make in regards to reproduction. No one is less of a human if they decide to be childfree.

    • Fuck “respecting choice.” Life is the fucking pits and we would have all been better off never being born. The best possible thing that could happen to our species and every other species would be to die off completely, and we can’t die off completely as long as other people are imposing the unfortunate state of existence upon new people.

“Each one of us was harmed by being brought into existence. That harm is not negligible, because the quality of even the best lives is very bad – and considerably worse than most people recognize it to be. Although it is obviously too late to prevent our own existence, it is not too late to prevent the existence of future possible people. Procreation is therefore morally problematic.” – David Benatar; Better Never to Have Been: The Harm of Coming into Existence.

    • Well there’s no such thing as choice, so…
